Our mission at Art Craft NYC is to jumpstart art department newcomers’ careers in the film industry through fully accessible mentorship and training by active industry specialists.

Art Craft began as a robust film training program to help entry level art department individuals gain confidence on set with continued support as they navigate a rapidly changing industry. After its inaugural year hosted at Pace University, Art Craft moved to CUNY’s Feirstein Grad School of Cinema and expanded to include 2 more sister programs focusing on Cinematography and Color Correction.

We aim to continue demystifying the technical crafts in film production, and providing trainees with the skills and support to become successful workers in the professional field.
