ArtCraft NYC is a new film production training program which incorporates lectures, field trips, and project-based group work to teach how you too can contribute to this world-building industry. We cover the crafts of production design, art direction, set decoration, and props -- don't know what any of that means? That's okay, we start with the basics too. Our transformative 5-week hands-on course focuses on practical skills, preparing you for the professional workplace no matter the level of your prior experience or education. We believe in opening new accessible avenues for training while maintaining direct coordination with active filmmakers. By nurturing talent and providing industry-relevant expertise, we aim to cultivate the next generation of skilled art department professionals who can bring captivating narratives to life on screen.
